1. Your dash cam battery may be depleted. Try using a different power source.
2. Customers who are not using a smart hardwire kit but have the parking monitor turned on may experience a continuous reboot of their device. To fix this issue, please turns off the parking mode function and try again.

My camera works for a few secs then flickers around then shuts off. I've used 2 different hardwire kits and the cigarette lighter adaptor and they all do the same thing. I've used the camera for a about a month then it started doing this. I figured it was the cigarette lighter adaptor, I figured it was bad. I bought 2 Rexing hard wire kits and since the covid started I haven't installed them. I finally got them installed in both my vans. The camera does the same thing. If the battery is depleted how would changing the power source help ? It seems like you would need to change the battery. I sent a request in for warranty repair. I have not heard anything.
Rodar559 - I have the exact same issue with my V1 4K camera. I have also updated to the latest firmware with no difference. I am using a 32gb microSD card as earlier threads spoke about using a smaller memory card. I have tried many different cigarette lighter power sources including home usb power sources and have had no success. I have also requested a replacement unit since this one has been defective since I purchased it from Amazon.
When the camera keeps rebooting, it could be a few things going on. It might be a defective power cable, sd card, a bad unit or sometimes require a firmware update. If your camera still has issues after trying a different power cable, firmware update or sd card, you can speak to customer support for a solution to your problemm
Leefield - I only used the camera a a few times. The memory card is the free one I got from them. Did every troubleshooting step that could be done before contacting support.
They send back emails and tell me to check the same stuff I told them I checked. Its annoying and time consuming dealing with support. I wish they would just call I hate email.
You need to have a trouble shoot, when the camera V3 6 months old wont even power on, no matter with car or wall and with or without SD via different cables all tested and working cable.
I’ve had the same thing happen to my first V1P Pro, and they sent me a new one January 2021.
Now it’s doing it again with this replacement.
I don’t see how it could be the power source if the power was sufficient to run it for a year for the first one, and 7 months for the second one.
I also tried formatting the SD card (a 128GB Kingston Go Plus),
I have not done a firmware update yet, but that doesn’t make a lot of sense why that would make it act like this.
I did think about getting a USB voltmeter and testing the power source, but I don’t know what it’s supposed to be, so I’m about to ask support for that info.
How can you turn off the parking mode when it won’t stay on long enough before rebooting?
Dear Customer

My new one I just got, Rexing 4k (V1GW-4k) kept rebooting as I was trying to set it up using the enclosed short usb cable which I plugged into my computer - so I had another usb cable and tried it, never did it again! so not sure if the cable is bad or maybe the internal battery did charge up enough, if the camera is capacitator driven and direct powered the battery should make zero difference? so far so good, going into the car next!
Dear Customer
Thank you for contacting Rexing
It would be highly appreciated if you can provide us with your contact details on care@rexingusa.com to ship you the new USB cable.

So why have a dash cam that has the parking feature if you have to turn it off to prevent the cam from constantly rebooting? I paid extra for the version BECAUSE of this feature.
