Hardwire kit is garbage. Going to plan B

I've tried everything to get the hardwire kit to work and it's a no go. What I want to do is use the cable that came with the camera to hardwire. What I need to know is the wires in the cable, what's hot and what's ground. The camera is a V5 going in a 2020 Chev malibu.

  the kit needs 12vdc, one always on the other ignition based.
