V2 camera works on front facing camera but is just a black screen on rear. Also says please insert sd card.

V2 camera works on front facing camera but is just a black screen on rear.  Also says please insert sd card.  I have put a card in. And attempted to format it on camera,  which it wont do. I have tried to factory reset device which ot doesnt show me any indication its being reset

  Dud you check to see if there is a micro sd card in the unit?
