Battery Level Display on M1?
Just received the M1 Rear View Mirror mount camera.
First, I found out that you can't use the mini USB cable to charge the unit before installing/mounting. You can receive error messages, as we did, because the unit kept repeatedly rebooting. So I'm told that you charge the battery once you actually plug it into the cigarette lighter or hardwire into the car.
Which brings me to my next issue....Is there any way to see the battery level on the mirror face, as you can with other icons?
I guess once it's hardwired in, there won't be a need to rely on the battery, so it might be a moot point?

Thank you for contacting Rexing. The battery level currently isn't available on the M1 yet but we are currently working to come up with a firmware to update it. So in the future, it's possible to see the battery level on the screen.
Yes and once it's hardwired in, there won't be a need for the M1 battery unless during an emergency where your car battery isn't available.
