V1 G3, Wi Fi Connect app error - 'abnormal request detected'?
When trying to view saved (Unlocked or Locked) videos using Rexing Connect app on my Android 7.0, I get an error "Abnormal request detected", then it immediatly returns to the "Connect/Unpair Camera" screen.
At first it connects to Wi Fi fine and will display the current real-time view with the following buttons under the app display view:
Stop, Return, Change view, Switch to photo mode, Videos, Pictures, Settings. Then when I select the 'Videos' button (bottom left on screen) it momentarily displays 'Stopping Recording' then displays "Getting File List'. Then instead of accessing 'Unlocked Videos' or 'Locked Videos' it momentarily displays an 'Abnormal Request Detected' error message followed by returning to the Wi Fi connect screen at which time the display on my dash cam still shows 'Wi Fi Connected'.
(note - after selecting the 'Videos' button it does not give me a chance to select either 'Unlocked' or 'Locked' videos)
(note - I did stop recording before entering 'Wi Fi ON' mode in the camera)
My problem starts at 1:04 marker in this Rexing Connect instruction video:
I can remove the SD card and put it in my PC where all videos are available for viewing.
I haven't attempted to view saved videos with this app in a while but it worked last time I used it (2-3 months ago?).
What to do?

Thank you for contacting Rexing.
It sounds like you need to try turning your android's mobile data off first before trying to connect to the wifi from the camera.

I had the same issue. I opened settings then the Rexing app. Clicked force stop, cleared cache and then cleared data. Restarted app and it works fine now.
