GPS Video Playback is not working on MacBook Pro

Hi,

I am using Rexing V1 with GPS logger. The GPS Video Playback software is unable to show me the speed/ data on map and it crashes after play for 1-2 minutes.

It made me look like why did I bought GPS logger when I cannot see the data through a software?

Speed is wrong, Map is blacked out...

Can Rexing team help me on this?

  Please go ahead and reach out to support via email at care@rexingusa.com .

  You either have the wrong GPS logger or you might need to update the firmware.

  If your have the new V14K model and have this GPS logger ( https://www.amazon.com/Rexing-GPS-Logger-V1-V1P/dp/B01AKH377A/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=V1+gps+logger&qid=1581613368&s=electronics&sr=1-4  )  then you have the wrong one.

  If you don't have the V14K version then you have the right GPS logger ( https://www.amazon.com/Rexing-GPS-Logger-V1-V1P/dp/B01AKH377A/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=V1+gps+logger&qid=1581613368&s=electronics&sr=1-4 ) .

  You can just go ahead and update the firmware 

  Update firmware.

   

  1. Go to the https://www.rexingusa.com/support/firmware-tool/  to find the firmware for your camera model
  2. Download the correct firmware zip file for your camera
  3. Unzip the file
  4. Format your SD card using your dash cam’s Format function
  5. Copy any firmware files to the root (not inside any folders) of your SD card
  6. Insert your SD card into your camera
  7. Power the camera on by connecting it to power
  8. Format the SD card after waiting 5 seconds.
