V1P not powering off after recording stopped?
So on my original V1 I had, after I would stop the recording, it would power down after 5 minutes. The new V1P I have won't power down so I have to manually shut it off. This usually isn't a major problem, but when someone else drives my truck and they stop the recording, the camera gets left on all day and night until I get it back to shut it down. I am afraid this has depleted the battery on it as it's on all the time now. Is there a way to add this feature back with a new firmware update?

Thank you for contacting Rexing.
The V1P should have an option to auto power off in the settings. This will allow your camera to turn off after you stop the recording. Also, none of our battery-powered cameras is capable of staying on overnight without having constant power. You will have to change the fuse location for the red wire on the hardwire kit. When you change the location to a fuse that is on/off with the ignition, all your concerns will be a thing of the past
