Rexing Dash Cam not recording video onto the Micro SD card

After inserting the Micro SD card into my Rexing V2 Dash Cam, turning it on before driving to record at the end of a trip the Micro SD card is still empty.  I've formatted the card before installing it and it still doesn't work.  Also, how can I tell if the camera is recording?  Is there a certain color light that should be on?

  The first thing is to make sure you are using the right sd card

  Card Recommendations

  • Kingston Canvas Go! MicroSD
  • Kingston Canvas React MicroSD
  • SanDisk High Endurance MicroSD

  NOTE: Please don't use SanDisk Ultra cards with our cameras.

   

  If you are using any of the recommended sd cards, we might need to replace the charger to resolve this issue.

  Before contacting support, make sure you have updated the firmware to see if that helps.

  When the camera records, there should be a red dot blinking on the top left side of the screen. At the same time, the "REC" button should keep blinking when the camera is recording.
