H2 Doesn't work as Described
Hello,
I purchased two Rexing H2 trail cameras. I have only setup one as I wanted to see how they work. I was excited that there would be a WiFi connection and I would not have to remove the microSD card every time. I have read the manual, reviewed the Rexing website, and found a few resources online. I have set the H2 up and it takes good pictures.
I have a challenge with viewing and downloading the pictures from the H2 using the WiFi option. I am able to connect the H2 and my Android device via WiFi. But after that it does not seem to work as described. Each time I connect the H2 to the H2 via WiFi different pictures show up and more likely DON’T show up. For example, there may be twenty pictures on the micro SD card, but when I connect via WiFi no pictures show up in the Trail Cam app. Later in the day I may check and a few of the pictures may show in the Trail Cam app. Then the next day all the pictures from the previous day are on the card but can not be seen in the Trail Cam app when connected via WiFi with an Android device. The H2 is a nice Trail Camera, but if the WiFi connection and Tral Cam app are not going to work as described, the H2 is just a normal Trail Camera and I will have to remove the micro SD card every time to get the pictures. The main purpose I bought the H2 was because of the WiFi option to connect and not have to remove the micro SD all the time. There is no support for this on the Rexing Website. Can you please provide support. If the H2 WiFi option is not going to work at described, I do not need another normal trail camera.
Here is the support I’m looking for:
- How or can a person view all the pictures that are currently on the H2 when connected via WI?
- Using the Trail Cam app and connecting via WiFi can you view all the pictures currently on the micro SD card?
- Can pictures from previous days be viewed in the Trail Cam app when connected via WiFi.
- Basically in my experience the H2 does not work the way it is described and advertised to others. One of the key options and probably why main purchase the H2 is the ability to connect via WiFi to view and downlod pictures that are currently of the H2 micro SD card. It is easy to connect the H2 via WiFi to an Android device, using the Trail Cam app. This is supposed to all a person to view and download pictures on the H2 micro SD card. But each time a connection is made it seems to change. Sometimes a person can view some pictures on the H2 micro SD card, sometimes NO pictures can be viewed, and I have never been able to view all the pictures on the H2 micro SD card via the Trail Cam app when connected through WiFi. The only way to see all the pictures on the micro SD card is to remove the card and use a PC. This makes the H2 a regular trail camera and defeats the purpose of the option to connect via WiFi.
Thank you for your understanding and any assistance/support you can provide.

I have to agree that this is not a clean cut setup. What "trail Cam" software do I use? There is more than one on Android!!!!!!!!!
I cannot believe that it is so difficult to put some information in the manual!!!!!!!HOW ABOUT A BARCODE!
I am very close to send this chunk back!

The the actual app is simply named Trail Cam in the Apple App Store. I find it by searching for Rexing trail cam. Why it’s not listed as such or close is beyond me.
It’s difficult to understand how to operate as the only instructions refer to connecting to wifi…
Good luck
