2018 Subaru Crosstrek and my Rexing V1P

I just purchased the hardwire kit for the Rexing V1P and my Crosstrek. No matter how I connect the hardwire kit my dashcam won’t turn on. When I try to turn it on manually, the okay button will flash red once on the right and then red once on the left side. Any ideas?
