It started with issues such as freeze frame while the audio taping. Then stop record bottom wont function, therefore access to menu was impossible. Then it starts working on and off and all of sudden died totally.
I have been thought of you have mentioned and wanted to get a mini USB cable as and plug it to the wall but at Staple they told me its an outdated USB format i wasn't able to find a cable anywhere Best Buy Target and Staple. I went and buy the same exact camera new so to see if the problem is cable or camera. I plugged the new camera to my car cable and it works, also I noticed in the new camera the stop record bottom work and i can access to menu easily while with the old one it was impossible.
How to trouble shoot a camera that wont even turn on, and the hard reset bottom wont chnage anything. Their support wont answer, , their phone is dead. and BestBuy say it past the return time, and i bought it 6 months ago. what to do with company that they make flimsy product and ignore paid customers?
Recap it is not the cable nor the mini SD as I have 4 different cards: Kingston ScanDisk and the two SD that come with camera. one with the broken one and other with the new camera. It was a faulty unit from the get-go.
At this point this unit must ship back to you ASAP for replacement as I can keep the new unit for only 14 days and I am a rideshare driver need camera in my car at all time. so please send me UPS barcode and ill ship it to you in its original box becasue the serial number on the camera its erase. That also something you have to look into in production that make serial number more resistant ink.
PS: the camera doesn't come with cable for wall charger.
