Same issue as most and I keep seeing format with dashcam before loading firmware on your computer? those are instructions for the person lucky enough to have one that works, Me like many of you are saying the camara will not boot gets stuck on the wwlcome boot screen from there the only function working is the reset button so my questin is whats so important that the dash cam does format isnt it a common format? the cards ive always used my laptop to format never an issue till the last few months it started getting goofy and saying reemove and reinstall sd card doing that did nothing nd was the last time it booted far enough to tell me anything. my gut feeling says get a new sd card drop firmware file to root plug the card bck in while cam is off and bingo red light should flash dark screen for a couple min and then it should come up as for formatting it after this I belive any time files are written at root level and update is performed the last thing it does is format the SD card. I will try this tonight and see how far off I am unless one of you have a new card handy and beat me to it that woukd be great if not ill post the outcome I really think that the way the v3 loop records that it trashes SD cards and its really able to cause the camara to loose its instructions for booting till the above is done, good luck PS: Rexington move your factory out of China back to the USA and raise your price ill be happy to help defund our enemie who we pay most of our money to for the slave labor

We understand how frustrating it gets when your camera isn't functioning.
Your issues with the camera are firmware related and as such, you have to update the firmware to see if that makes a difference. Contact support for additional help if the issue persists.

Hi did you get this to work? I have the exact same problem. My v3 was on a only firmware version and I figured I'd update to the latest version form here (https://www.rexingusa.com/support/firmware/rexing-v3-firmware/)

My sd card was already formatted by the dash cam and I followed the steps to update it and now it is stuck on the logo screen and won't boot past it.
Any help would be appreciated. Do you happen to have a download link to an older firmware version perhaps?

I was able to get mine working again. I contacted support and John sent me an older firmware from 2004 that I was able to flash and the dashcam booted again.
